SYNOPSIS :
Lyes, a young Algerian employed in an urban planning administration, is promoted to a position of responsibility. He is acting as a nominee in a fraudulent transaction to assign a major real estate project. He is thrown in jail and loses almost everything.

About the Director:
Born in 1943 in Mostaganem, he studied at the Institute of of Cinematographic Training. After an experience as a director and actor, he directed two short films, the second of which “Tartaran Avenue (1980)” was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, He then directed many feature films most notably “Sacrificed (1982)”, “Survivor (1986)” and “Mauritanien (2007)”. Okasha Touita also participated as an actor in several Algerian and French films, including ” Harraga” by Merzak Allouache, “Youth Idol ” by Ivan Lagrange and “Le grand départ” by Marcial Rice.
